SUMMARY
The Power roared back to form with an impressive victory against a free-falling Richmond at the MCG last Saturday night, but it will be all for nothing if Ken Hinkley's men can't repeat the dose at home. Jared Polec, Jarman Impey and Nathan Krakouer were fantastic in their return to the senior side. They will need to be again to stop a Lions side that showed plenty of fight in a three-point loss to the Sydney Swans. Justin Leppitsch is seeing steady improvement from his young team as it continues to rebuild. The Lions pulled off a massive upset in knocking off the Power at The Gabba last season, and another slip-up will put a dent in Port's top eight aspirations.

THE SIX POINTS
1. The Brisbane Lions' upset win over the Power in 2015 was thanks to their midfield. Dayne Beams was best on ground with 32 disposals and one goal, Lewis Taylor had 28 touches and Daniel Rich 23. Stefan Martin dominated the ruck, picking up a Brownlow vote with 24 disposals and 27 hit-outs.
2. They may be 1-5, but the Lions continue to improve their scoring with an average of 84 points per game compared to just 70 in 2015.
3. Port Adelaide and the Lions will play for the 31st time, and the Lions hold a narrow advantage winning 15 games to 13 with two draws.
4. The Power continues to be the worst team in 2016 for marks inside 50, averaging only 8.8 per game. The Lions are ranked 12th with 11 per game.
5. Not in the Lions' favour is their brief history at Adelaide Oval, losing by 113 and 87 points in one game each against the Power and Crows.
6. With Port Adelaide star Robbie Gray sidelined for at least another week with a hamstring injury, Brisbane Lions midfielder Dayne Zorko will be the highest-ranked player at the Adelaide Oval on Sunday according to the Schick AFL Player Ratings. Zorko has moved up to 14th overall after gathering 33 possessions and 148 fantasy points in last week's three-point loss to the Sydney Swans.
IT'S A BIG WEEK FOR … Stefan Martin
The Lions ruckman had his colours lowered by Kurt Tippett last weekend with his stronger work at stoppages and around the ground. Martin has the experience edge on Port third-gamer Dougal Howard, while forward Charlie Dixon will also help out in the ruck for the Power. Martin needs to deliver his midfielders first use of the ball if the Lions are a chance to cause an upset.
LEE'S PREDICTION: Port by 25 points
