WELCOME to the last Inside Alberton before the return of footy!
There’s been plenty happening around the club and we’ve gathered it all in one bumper-sized edition to tie you over until Sunday’s footy fix.
Speed demons
Some of the boys went to check out the Clipsal 500 last weekend - Robbie, Boaky and Charlie were pretty stoked to experience a hot lap with the Red Bull and Hot Wheels teams!
Crazy experience doing a hot lap with these guys today! Thanks Red Bull

Punk’d
Chad Wingard recently hatched a plan to cheer up teammate Billy Frampton while he’s in rehab with a foot injury…
It went swimmingly.
Chad gets trolled by an 8 year old
You might have seen this on our Facebook page just before our NAB Richmond clash, but it’s too good not to re-share. It’s not very often Chad Wingard gets shown up by a fan – but when he does, he takes it with a smile on his face!

Jacko trolls Chad
Going with the trolling-Chad theme, Jacko poked fun at Wings with this snap of a recent Power liftout in the Advertiser.
It’s true - you can’t get six points with a handball… #banter

Family man
It’s no secret Chad’s first two loves are his family and basketball – it’s good to see he’s making time for both while visiting home in Murray Bridge!
Slam dunk fail
…looks like Jacko could do with some practice though.
Man’s best friend
We love a new addition to the Port Adelaide Family – especially one this cute. Meet Jimmy Toumpas’ new best friend, Benji, the chocolate lab. Stay tuned for a #petsofportadelaide feature.
Abseil for Anglicare
ICYMI, Alipate Carlile and Jackson Trengove recently participated in Abseil for Anglicare, abseiling down the side of the Intercontinental Hotel in the city to raise money for families doing it tough. Check out our Gopro video!
Don't. Look. Down.

Bobby’s Cyclone Winston appeal
Alipate’s been keeping busy on the philanthropic trail, also filming a video to help raise funds to assist those affected by Cyclone Winston in his home country of Fiji.

Roger Boak Chair Appeal
Meanwhile the skipper has launched a campaign of his own, for a cause very close to his heart. He and his family have announced they’re raising $10,000 to help purchase a new chemotherapy treatment chair named in honour of his late father, Roger, in the Geelong region.
#ultimatepiechallenge
A longtime advocate for the Childhood Cancer Association, Boaky also helped launch the Ultimate Pie Challenge, copping a plate of whipped cream to the face from Kenny in the name of charity! You can join in too – just upload your video to social media with the hashtag #ultimatepiechallenge.
Looking good, Wal
Chad recently stitched up teammate Ollie, posting this snap of Wal getting his makeup done for Channel 7 promo shoot on Friday at Adelaide Oval.
Port or Crows corner?
You know that sign on the corner of Port Road and Cheltenham Parade – the one celebrating a certain cross-town rival's two premierships? Well, a loyal Port fan decided it was time for a renovation…

School’s in
Westy recently shared this cute snap of his son, Bodhi, on his first day of school. He’s the first of the Westhoff offspring to go to school, ahead of little sisters Tully and Piper.
Home sweet home
On their last weekend off before the season officially begins, many of the boys chose to head home– including Ollie, who went back to Echuca in Victoria to spend time with friends and family.
#LIVIN #itaintweaktospeak
Brad and Lobbes have been supporting the #LIVIN cause, helping to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues.
Nailed it
We can’t even work out how Kane Mitchell managed to do this in the gym! Ouch.
On the road
And finally, Port Adelaide’s new recruit Aidyn Johnson has finally got his licence – sounds like teammate Dan Houston was sick of playing taxi! Congrats AJ.
See you this Easter Sunday, Port Faithful!
Port Adelaide hosts St Kilda in AFL Opening Round on Easter Sunday, March 27 at 2:50pm (ACDT).
