MATT WHITE will miss anywhere from one to three months in rehab from a pectoral injury.

Port Adelaide will await scans before getting a clearer picture of White's outlook after the speedy forward injured his pec in the opening quarter of the Power's win over St Kilda.

The Power's running mid-forward left the ground in the latter stages of the opening term and didn't return after the first break.

"It could be anywhere from four weeks to three months probably, dependent on how bad a rupture or just a slight tear [it is]." Power coach Ken Hinkley said after the game.

"We won't know that until we scan him, the symptoms are similar whether its bad, or not so bad."

The 28-year-old's injury was the major blemish on the Power's afternoon, although no other injuries reported from either of Port Adelaide's games.

More detail on White’s injury will be available on portadelaidefc.com.au following the conclusion of the game.

Port Adelaide next plays away to Adelaide in Showdown XL on Saturday 2 April at the Adelaide Oval.
