ANNA MEARES has continued her strong form in the lead up to the Rio Olympics with an unbeaten performance at the Australian National Track Championships.
Meares took out her 36th national title overnight by winning the kerin final at the Velodrome north of Adelaide.
The dual Olympic gold medallist, who is a Port Adelaide ambassador and works with Power Community Ltd in delivering positive health and lifestyle messages to school children, won all three of her events during the national titles.
She also took out the team and individual sprint titles, meaning she can wear the Australian green and gold jersey in those events for the remainder of the year.
Meares was also crowned 'Champion of Champions' for her incredible performance at the nationals.
