Three changes for the Power sees Jay Schulz, Jack Hombsch and Kane Mitchell back into the side, replacing the injured Dougal Howard, and omitted Paul Stewart and Sam Gray.
Richmond have also made two changes.
Play it again
This Round 15 clash against Richmond is Port's first 'return' game for the year (with clashes against GWS, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane to come). With the season slipping away, it's crucial the Power revisits the form it had against the Tigers earlier in the year.
Beware the Tigers
Richmond are in strong form, having won five of its last six games (Brisbane, Gold Coast, Essendon, Fremantle and Sydney).
Despite this, Port Adelaide are short-priced favourites heading into Friday's match. Keen to atone for its performance against Freo and benfitting from the injection of talented key positions players Hombsch and Schulz, the Power will be wary of the Tigers, but enthusiastic to win.
Final word
Every game is a must-win for Port now, but the minimum requirement is effort and execution.
Port Adelaide hosts Richmond at the Adelaide Oval on Friday 1 July at 7.20pm. Check our broadcast guide for details.
