Port Adelaide will host charity partners at every home game during the 2016 season, with the Power Community Ltd confirmed as the official charity partner for the first match this Sunday.
Established in 2010, Power Community Ltd is the community development arm of the Port Adelaide Football Club, and is focussed on engaging youth and delivering Aboriginal programs across Adelaide and South Australia.
Power Community Ltd is known for its industry-leading community programs, such as the Aboriginal Power Cup, Power Community Youth Program, Empowering Youth, WillPOWER and many more.
Power Community Ltd staff will be outside each gate on Sunday collecting donations, which will go towards supporting the group's work in 2016.
A community marquee will be located outside the Southern Plaza of Adelaide Oval where people can receive more information and talk to staff members.
A Port Adelaide player will visit the marquee after 1.00pm.
Port Adelaide hosts St Kilda in AFL Opening Round on Easter Sunday, March 27 at 2:50pm (ACDT).
