WHEN IT'S WET, Jasper prefers a dry strip and on Friday night we saw the Port Adelaide long sleeve make a much awaited appearance against the Tigers.
portadelaidefc.com.au spoke to Pittard after the game, with the fan favourite saying the chance to don the extra-length sleeves was too good to pass up.
“When it’s wet I usually change to my other jumper, so I’ve got a dry jumper going into the second half," Pittard explained.
“I had my long-sleeve out, I’ve been looking forward to wearing it at some stage this year, but it hasn’t been cold enough.
“It was good to get it on, it was drizzly all night."
Pittard is one of only a handful of Power players to wear long-sleeved jumpers, with Robbie Gray, Jay Schulz and Angus Monfries having also worn the number in the past.
