Robbie Gray has continued to catch the coaches eyes, polling four votes in the AFL Coaches Association Votes for the Round 14 match against Sydney.
Gray was Port’s leading possession getter with 32 disposals and one goal, dominating at stoppage and producing another consistent performance to poll for the seventh time this season.
Chad Wingard received one vote despite limited possession, with his solid first half and three goals keeping Port Adelaide in the contest heading into the last quarter.
It is the fourth match in a row that Wingard has polled in, capping off a return to his best form over the last month and providing a spark heading into the back end of the season.
Fremantle’s Nathan Fyfe continues to lead the AFLCA votes with 100, 31 clear of Sydney’s Dan Hannebery in second place.
