PLENTY of young girls dream of marrying their favourite AFL star.

But when five-year-old Power fan Lilly told Jarman Impey she wanted to marry him from the sidelines at the Hawthorn game on Friday, she didn’t actually expect it to happen.

“I think I just said it, I don’t think we’ll actually get married together,” she told Seven reporter Hamish McLachlan at half-time.

When Impey heard the news of his young admirer, he took matters into his own hands, and Lilly was invited down to Alberton for a "big surprise".

Jars stopped by the shops on the way back from training, and picked up a bunch of roses and a ring…

What happened next is pretty much the cutest thing you'll ever see. Yeah, we're calling it.  

Marraige proposals aside, young Lilly has more in common with her hero than she might realize.

Let's just say they've got the first dance nailed....
