FOUR QUARTERS

THE STAKES
Last week's loss all but puts a line through Port Adelaide’s season - now relying on winning all four of its remaining games and for a number of unorthodox results. No longer a realistic finals chance, the final four games are about Port pride. The Giants sit two points outside the top eight and are desperate to play their first finals series, but will need to put in a big effort to overcome the Power, who have beaten them by a combined margin of 166 points in their last three contests.

THE STOCKS
Nathan Krakouer made his return from injury in the SANFL side last weekend, kicking three goals and looking back to his best, while Paul Stewart has also recovered from a hip injury and will be available for selection. Outside of injuries, Angus Monfries was one of the best in the Magpies win on the weekend and could also earn a recall.

THE HISTORY
In the short history between the two sides, Port Adelaide has won 3 out of the 4 matches played. After the Giants won their first meeting in 2012, Port have taken control of the head-to-head, winning by margins of 35, 75, and 56 points. The last game was in Round 7, 2014, where Port took control in the first quarter and never looked back.

THE VIBE
Saturday is about atonement.
