LAST WEEK’S NEWS
Despite losing to the Fremantle Dockers, there were some amazing signs in the eyes of Fantasy coaches. Brad Ebert (MID, $590,000) was the highest scorer for the round with an amazing 165. He was everywhere for his 34 disposals, 14 marks and seven tackles.
Rising star Ollie Wines (MID, $535,000) started the season with a bang with 131 and Robbie Gray (FWD/MID, $558,000) continued from he left off in 2014 with 122.
ON THE RADAR
Keep an eye out for Karl Amon (MID, $120,000) and Tom Clurey (DEF, $120,000). Both are bargain basement players who will/should feature at some point this year. Write their names down and when they finally get the call up, put them on your bench for some other rookie who has made you some money.
WHAT’S COMING UP
Next week the Power meet the Sydney Swans who came from behind last week to run down the Bombers. In that game, Craig Bird applied a hard tag to Brent Stanton (57pts) and he’ll have his eyes set on Travis Boak (MID, $549,000) this week. Boak scored 115 in round one and will need to bring his best this week. He is one of the most dangerous players in the competition and should brush Bird aside with ease. We hope!
