LAST WEEK’S NEWS
After a couple of lean weeks in Fantasy, Ollie Wines (MID, $524,000) was sensational and one of the top 10 scoring players of the round. He found the ball 33 times and laid 10 tackles for his score of 136 and only just beat Justin Westhoff (FWD, $513,000) who got off to a flying start scoring 52 of his 128 in the first quarter.
Rookie Karl Amon (MID, $202,000) avoided the green vest for his 50pts and Robbie Gray (FWD/MID, $507,000) who is now in 50% of all Fantasy teams scored 86.
Patrick Ryder (FWD/RUC, $386,000) had his best score for 2015 with 90pts which unfortunately had a negative effect on the scoring of Matthew Lobbe (RUC, $439,000) who only managed 20pts before being subbed out.
Angus Monfries (FWD, $327,000) had his best game for the year with 113pts and kicked a goal while Chad Wingard (FWD/MID, $496,000) slotted three in his score of 107.
ON THE RADAR
Justin Westhoff (FWD, $513,000) has been on fire over the last two weeks, scoring 128 and 113. Last week, he had 95pts at half time and looked set to be the first person this year to crack the double ton. He currently has a break even of 66 and has a great draw coming up, a draw that might see Port win their next five games… and this means lots of goals.
TOP 5 SCORERS
#1 – 136 Ollie Wines (MID, $524,000)
#2 – 128 Justin Westhoff (FWD, $513,000)
#3 – 113 Angus Monfries (FWD, $327,000)
#4 – 107 Chad Wingard (FWD/MID, $496,000)
#5 – 101 Matthew Broadbent (DEF, $445,000)
WHAT’S COMING UP
This week, Port meet the Crows in the local Derby.
This game promises to be a big blockbuster and I’m tipping Brad Ebert (MID, $546,000) to have a big one. He scored 139 against Adelaide earlier this year and had scores of 98 and 127 before that. Last week, the Crows allowed the Eagles to score eight 100+ scores with their main ball winners, Gaff (152) and Priddis (136) scoring highly.
Good luck this round Fantasy fans!
