AARON Young has been elevated into Port Adelaide’s AFL team on the back of a strong performance against Glenelg last week.
Replacing Nathan Krakouer who has been relegated to the club’s SANFL side after being placed back on the club’s rookie list, Young’s inclusion is the only change to the team that defeated Melbourne by 61 points last Saturday.
Young had 24 disposals, 10 clearances and five inside-50s playing for the Magpies last Sunday to be named the club’s Peter Jackson SANFL Player of the Week.

Krakouer’s placement back on the club’s rookie list comes on the back of Billy Frampton’s return from shin rehabilitation.
It will be the first-year ruckman’s first game for Port Adelaide, after being drafted to the club in November.
Brendon Ah Chee and John Butcher will also return from minor patella problems against Central District in the SANFL at 2:10pm on Saturday afternoon.
The Power takes on the Western Bulldogs at the Adelaide Oval at 7:10pm, with the finals of the Aboriginal Power Cup to be played as curtain raisers to the game.
