PORT Adelaide will enter Round 1 with a full-ish stocks after getting through Saturday’s final NAB Challenge game relatively unscathed.
Only two minor concerns were reported from the game, with Matt White coming from the ground in the final minutes after copping a knock to the chest.
He’ll be reviewed during the week, however head of high performance Darren Burgess expects the running forward to be fine during the week.
“Whitey got a whack in the last two minutes and came off, we checked him out after the game and don’t think it’s too bad,” Burgess said after the game.
Jack Hombsch was subbed out of the game and was seen icing his quad on the sidelines, but Burgess says there are no injury concerns for the important defender.
“Homma’s had two big weeks on key defenders and the substitution was more a management call than anything else, he’ll be good to go this week at training and fine for Round 1.”
Port Adelaide reported no injuries from its earlier SANFL trial game at Alberton.
