CHAD Wingard has been nominated for the AFL Weet-Bix Mark of the Year.
Port Adelaide’s star forward took the grab during the third term of the Power’s clash with the Cats on Friday night.
Receiving a long kick from Brad Ebert in the back left pocket, Wingard leaps above Geelong’s Jed Bews, Tom Lonergan and teammate Jay Schulz, stealing the ball with one hand.
The left-footer seals it with a banana kick; scoring a major at a crucial moment in the game.
