LANCE Franklin and Kurt Tippett will miss Thursday's game against the Power after accepting one-match bans emerging from Sydney's last game against Richmond.

Franklin was offered his ban for rough conduct, after bumping the Tigers' Shane Edwards across the head in the second quarter. 

Tippet's ban was handed down for striking Dylan Grimes during the game.

Franklin's conduct was classified as 'careless' and of a medium impact to Edwards's head, while Tippett's strike was graded the same. 

Adam Goodes was cleared of illegal contact with Taylor Hunt and will face Port Adelaide.
