Macca’s Top Five
Travis Boak
Led by example with a fantastic Captain’s performance. Just disappointing he had little support underneath him. I thought his work at the stoppages was important and he made the most of some poor ruckwork. Just continuously won the hard ball and tried to get it forward. No shame at all in how he played today. Was our best player by a mile.

Jasper Pittard
That’s 4 out of the last 5 weeks he's played really, really well. Loved that he cut off a number of attacks at half back. Thought his ball use was very good. Liked how he backed into a number of oncoming contests. That’s the Jasper I love. Was put under pressure a number of times and did a great job. Only behind Boak.

Robbie Gray
Did all he could except slot goals again. Was great around the packs and was slippery up forward, just couldn’t get in any proper goal scoring positions.

Ollie Wines
Was our best player to half time with a ripping first half getting the ball out and finding space. So many times he got the ball clear and was able to run out of the stoppage. Slowed down a little as the game wore on but thought he was well in our best. Didn’t really put a foot wrong and did a decent job going head to head against Dangerfield.

Matt White
Very good to begin with and followed on with arguably his best 4 quarter performance of the year. Worked well into space and used the ball well. Continued to present himself as an option and worked hard through the middle. Can hold his head high.
