HE had a room of 900 people captivated in a memorable speech upon his induction into the Port Adelaide Football Club’s Hall of Fame, and now is your chance to hear about Mark Williams’ life in more detail over a long lunch at Alberton Oval.
In the first Comwire Lunch Series of 2019 on Friday 5 April, past player, Premiership coach and Life Member Mark Williams is the special guest speaker.
Made a life member of the club in 2002, Williams played in SANFL Premierships in 1979, 1980, 1990 and 1992 before embarking on his coaching career.
The club’s longest-serving AFL Coach with 274 games at the helm, Williams guided the Power to three minor premierships before claiming the 2004 flag.
Now coaching Werribee in the VFL, Williams is also a renowned leadership and business coach through his business Mark Williams’ Champion Teams and he has designed a football which helps teach people of all ages to kick properly.
An expert who has been coaching and mentoring some of the best and brightest in the football and business worlds for more than 25 years, come and hear him talk about his life, football and the “business of winning”.
Held in the Oval Room Function Centre at the Port Club, overlooking the iconic Alberton Oval you’ll be wined and dined with lunch and a two-and-a-half-hour beverage package along with live entertainment and guest speaker.
The cost is $95 per person or $900 for a table of ten.
The event starts at midday at the Port Club Oval Room Function Centre, on the corner of Queen Street and Brougham Place at Alberton and will conclude at 2:30pm.
