SUMMARY
The Magpies have kept their finals window ajar with a big win over North Adelaide, but will need to win their two remaining games and have other results fall their way to secure a finals berth. Their next challenge is at Gliderol Stadium against Glenelg, with Chad Cornes imploring his side to finish the season strong.

THE SIX POINTS
1. The Magpies were dominant against North Adelaide last weekend, heading into the long break with a 60-15 lead and maintaining the pressure in the second half. The defence was at its best with the Roosters only managing to kick multiple goals in the third quarter.
2. Once again Kane Mitchell brought his own footy to the game, amassing 44 disposals and 12 clearances. Skipper Steven Summerton was amongst it again with 30 touches while Luke Reynolds added three goals to his season tally of 38.
3. Chad Cornes praised Matthew Lobbe’s return to form against North Adelaide, who shouldered the entirety of the ruck work. He may have some help this week if Billy Frampton can overcome a groin complaint.
4. Glenelg comes into this game on the back of a 40-point loss to Central District, and didn't come out of it unscathed with injuries to Jack Kenny and Lachie Hosie to be assessed this week. Former Magpie Ben Sawford will also face a fitness test, returning from a hamstring injury.
5. Glenelg’s Joshua Scott has been an ominous target for the Bays and one for the Magpies defence to keep an eye on, the forward kicking 13 goals in the last four games.
6. Once again the Magpies need to win to maintain any hope of a finals berth. Port Adelaide sits sixth on the ladder, two games behind fifth placed Central District who play Woodville West Torrens this weekend.
