PORT ADELAIDE’s traditional game day favourite - the march - will take on a new route and starting point in 2017.
The March will no longer make its way to the Adelaide Oval via the River Torrens footbridge, due to restrictions around the Adelaide Festival Centre redevelopment.
Instead, the Port Faithful will take an alternative route down King William Road, descending upon Adelaide Oval from the Eastern side of the ground.
Supporters are encouraged to meet on the north eastern corner of North Terrace and King William Rd, just outside of Government House at the designated time before each Power home game.
The sea of black, white and teal will then march down the eastern side of King William Road, before crossing over the bridge and into the Eastern plaza via Victoria Drive, with police escort.
