Port Adelaide platinum partner RAA is spreading kindness through South Australia after launching a new social media campaign highlighting positivity in the community.
The Keep Kindness Moving campaign is keeping the positive conversations flowing in SA by encouraging people to share acts of kindness they’ve seen or done during the tough times of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Best of all there are plenty of prizes and goodies from local businesses to be won to put even more smiles on the faces of South Aussies as we work through the coronavirus crisis together.
Simply share your gesture of kindness on social media, tag @raaofsa and use the hashtag #sharekind
#Sharekind moments can be as simple as dropping some groceries to a friend in isolation or helping set up an elderly family member on Zoom to keep in touch with everyone.
To see some of the brilliant acts of kindness around the state check out the Keep Kindness Moving page on the RAA website.
Port Adelaide are fully behind the campaign and encourage all supporters to spread some positivity and share their acts of kindness that showcase the togetherness our club prides itself on.
“Nothing is more important in difficult times, than unity. We’ve proven it time and again,” CEO Keith Thomas said in a note to members in March.
“What I do know is that when challenged the Port Adelaide family always stick together.
“We always find a way and this will be no different.”
This echoes sentiments from reigning best and fairest Travis Boak, who is focused on helping others during the shutdown period.
“That is the biggest challenge for everyone now – how do we be positive in a situation that is so negative and affecting so many people?” Boak said in early April.
“We can get through it and support each other and be kind. When people are struggling you put your hand up and support those people.”
