PORT Adelaide continued its good last quarter form against North Melbourne with an all-round improved performance against the Suns.

The dominant display started from the centre of the park as Brent Renouf gave the midfielders first use of the ball with another 42 hitouts as the Power won the ruck battle 61-42.

From there the Power increased its forward drive from last week, leading the inside 50s against the Suns 61-47, with Matthew Broadbent contributing a game high 9 forward entries.

The scoring load was shared amongst the team as eleven different names made the score sheet, with the midfield in particular stepping up as Travis Boak (3) Matthew Broadbent (2), Brad Ebert (2) and Kane Cornes (2) kicked multiple goals.

Despite the overall team improvement Jay Schulz had an off day as his usual accuracy in front of goal went missing - kicking 1.5 compared to his overall 18.4 tally going into the game.

The win marked the first time the Power has had back-to-back victories since defeating Melbourne and Richmond in the last two rounds of the 2010 season.
