I’m Matthew Richardson, general manager of member services here at the club and I’ll be updating you throughout the coming weeks and months on our progress towards Adelaide Oval and how you can secure your seat at our exciting new home ground!
There is a lot of planning and preparation going into the transition of our members to Adelaide Oval. We want to ensure that it is as seamless as possible for our members.
We have some amazing technology that we’ll release soon which will transform your football experience, not just from the moment you arrive at new Adelaide Oval in 2014 but from the very moment you choose your seat!
In just a few weeks from now we’ll be releasing the member seating layout at the magnificent new Adelaide Oval and shortly after that everyone who has secured an Adelaide Oval seat hold guarantee (those who renewed their 2013 reserved seat membership before 15 March 2013) will receive their exclusive seat offer.
The fantastic choice of seats at Adelaide Oval will provide our members with a great range of options to enjoy the footy in 2014. Over the next few weeks we’ll be introducing you to some of the member features and choices which will include:
? An 11-game general admission membership which provides game day entry to all 11 home games with seating or standing options available – great for the member who wants to immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere that will be the Adelaide Oval “hill” – remember Round 23 in 2011 - what atmosphere and colour!
? Reserved seating options in the Eastern and Southern Stands or non-reserved seating in the Western Stand
One of our footy club’s guiding principles throughout the entire transition to Adelaide Oval has been to prioritise the best seats in the stadium for our MEMBERS.
While there will also be a great range of corporate seating options available, our members will have their share to select from too.
The first member category we’ll be introducing you to today is new for 2014: the exclusive Black Diamond membership.
These are the absolute best seats in the stadium.
Black Diamond - it’s a name that’s synonymous with the Port and one we’ve attached to our ultra-premium membership category for our new home in the heart of the city.
Black Diamond members will have superb reserved seating on Level 2 of the magnificent new Eastern Stand. It is strictly limited to only 1500 of the best-viewing seats in the stadium; from 50m arc to 50m arc. When you sit in the brilliantly-designed new Eastern Stand, you’ll feel like you are almost out on the ground, perched over the boundary line for the ultimate viewing experience!
Black Diamond seats will be the ones that you’ll never give up once you have them in the family and we plan to introduce a ‘wait list’ once this category is sold out to allocate seats in the event they do become available.
As you’ll see in the images above, Black Diamond seating is in the first eight rows on Level 2 of the Eastern Stand (the red seating area).
Black Diamond seating will be available to Club 1870 Members (one per member) and when first released will be made available to 2013 Platinum Members in the first instance (or until sold out). It is anticipated that these seats will sell quickly so if you are interested in this seating please contact our Member Services team to register your interest. (all 2014 pricing will be released when the 2014 product range is launched in the coming weeks)
