The Port Adelaide Football Club has become aware that West Coast mid-fielder Brad Ebert has requested a trade to the Power.

21 year-old Ebert was drafted from the Magpies in the SANFL as a first round pick (number 13 overall) in the 2007 AFL National Draft.

Port Adelaide will be working with the Eagles to attempt to negotiate a deal suitable to all parties.

We will make no further comment until those negotiations are complete.
