In all, a total of 1,968,571 supporters have been to a Showdown since the 21-year rivalry began at an average of 44,740 per game.

Since Adelaide Oval started hosting the Showdown, 452,218 fans have watched the games at an average of 50,246 per game, up from 43,247 per game at AAMI Stadium.

The record attendance at a single Showdown is 54,468 in Showdown XXXIX in 2015.

Goals and margins

Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley has won five of his eleven Showdowns, representing a 45.45% winning rate. Former coach Mark Williams had the club’s best Showdown record with 13 wins in 23 games, a 56.52% winning rate.

Adelaide coach Don Pyke has won four of his five Showdowns, representing an 80% winning rate. Stand-in coaches Mark Bickley (round 19, 2011) and Scott Camporeale (round 16,2015) won their only Showdowns to have 100% records.
