Port Adelaide will have a close to full strength team in Saturday night’s Showdown against Adelaide.

Bustling forward Charlie Dixon, who missed the Round 1 win over Gold Coast with injury, is the most likely to return for the Power.

He could be joined by vice-captain Ollie Wines who is pushing for a return after shoulder surgery in pre-season and defender Riley Bonner who was a late withdrawal from the 47-point win over the Suns.

Fellow vice-captain Hamish Hartlett and experienced midfielder/forward Brad Ebert have shaken off injuries suffered in the Round 1 clash and are also available to play.

Defender Jack Watts is fully fit, having recovered from a badly broken leg suffered against Carlton in Round 2 last season, and will be itching to play, although breaking in to the Power’s defence might be a stretch without any game practice.

Ruckman Peter Ladhams is hoping to see himself named after missing selection in Round 1, and could be called upon if Scott Lycett doesn’t pass a fitness test on Thursday.

With no football played since that win way back on March 21 the coaches won’t have form to base selection on, making the task that much harder.

The Power will name its squad on Thursday evening.
