PORT Adelaide senior coach Ken Hinkley says the Power will be boosted by the return of two key players for next week's match against the Gold Coast Suns at Metricon Stadium.

Hinkley declared speedster Matt White a certain starter ahead of next week's clash with the Suns, revealing the 27-year-old had overcome the groin injury that forced him to miss the Collingwood match and Saturday night's game at Adelaide Oval against the Sydney Swans.

The Port Adelaide mentor said he is also looking forward to Aaron Young slotting back into the midfield next week.

The 21-year-old midfielder has not played since the 20 point win against Melbourne, after injuring his foot.

"He (Matt White) will play next week, there's no problems there," Hinkley said.

"Aaron Young will be back next week too and we are starting to get them all back - bar the long-term injury-listed ones."

Jackson Trengove, who made his return from a long injury lay-off after ankle surgery, was subbed out of the game, but Hinkley confirmed it wasn't related to injury.

"Jacko's fine. Once the weather turned it was a pretty simple decision (to sub him out) and monitor him."

Justin Westhoff was in serious doubt in the lead-up to the game having injured his ankle at training, but played the game out.

"Westy will be sore," Hinkley said. "But he got through fine and will be right for this week."
