Lomman, whose Adelaide Fringe show is set to get underway on February 21, had the three Power players hooked on his every word.
The players struggled to pick up footballs (as they thought the balls weighed a tonne), Daniel Flynn became an Irish dancing champion and Chad Wingard kicked for his career at Port Adelaide after finding out he’d been ‘traded’ to another club.
The result of the hypnosis was hilarious – with the rest of the playing group losing it as Flynn jigged, Wingard struggled to kick and Wines lost his strength.
Wingard told PTV after coming out of the hypnosis, he couldn’t explain what had just happened.
“I knew everything that I was doing, but I couldn’t stop myself from doing it,” Wingard said.
“I didn’t really believe you could be hypnotised, but the more I tried to fight it, the deeper I fell into hypnosis.
“I knew all the boys were laughing, but I just couldn’t help it, I’d do anything Isaac said.
“I came out of the hypnosis and felt awesome, it was like I’d just had the best sleep of my life.”
And Power fans can rest easy - Chad hasn't been traded anywhere - and doesn't want to be judging by his reaction.
"I was devastated when I was (hypnotised) and I was told I'd been traded," he said.
"When I came out from the hypnosis, I was so relieved!"
Lomman said he knew the players would be a good group to work with.
“Athletes are often some of the best subjects for hypnosis because they have such good concentration skills,” Lomman said.
“It shows how strong the power of the mind can be.”
