FRESH from a tight win over Melbourne, Port Adelaide will regroup and restock ahead of its next game against Collingwood in two weeks.

No injuries were reported from the win over the Demons and three players are set to return from injury in the next fortnight.

Small forward Cameron Hitchcock is available to play the Crows in the SANFL Showdown at Alberton on Saturday afternoon, while Angus Monfries and Alipate Carlile are almost certain to pull up for selection against the Pies in Round 19 at the MCG.

Port Adelaide’s head of high performances Darren Burgess told portadelaidefc.com.au it was highly likely Monfries and Carlile would be named in the Power’s next side.

Jackson Trengove also remains an outside chance to make that side as he nears the end of his ankle rehabilitation.

“I’d be surprised if they weren’t available, they’ve both tracked on schedule and the bye will be helpful in making sure they’re ready to go against Collingwood,” Burgess said.

“Jackson’s probably a long shot for Collingwood, but he does recover quickly, so we’ll wait and see how he’s looking next week.”

It’s good news for Port Adelaide as it steels for two important late runs in both the AFL and SANFL.

The Power will face Collingwood, Sydney, Gold Coast, Carlton and Fremantle in its final five games, while the Magpies will play the Crows, South Adelaide, Central District, Norwood and Glenelg in its run home.
