BULLDOG Adam Cooney will miss Saturday's Round 14 clash with Port Adelaide after being substituted from his side's eight-point win over Collingwood last Saturday.

Cooney, the 2008 Brownlow Medallist, will miss at least three weeks with the hamstring injury, including the Bulldogs' first visit to the Adelaide Oval.

His skipper Ryan Griffen is a chance to play the Power despite sustaining a knock during the match.

Matthew Boyd will be assessed at Dogs training this week to make his return from hamstring soreness of his own.

Both the Power and Bulldogs lineups will be on portadelaidefc.com.au from 6:00pm on Thursday night.
