VICE-CAPTAIN Brad Ebert has extended his lead in the Port Adelaide Official Fans’ MVP Award after another strong performance against Geelong.

Ebert polled two votes to move to 14 votes overall in just six rounds, four clear of skipper Travis Boak who was best on ground according to the fans in Round 6 against the Cats.

Fans award votes on a 3,2,1 basis which are then scaled based on overall votes, with best on ground receiving five votes, second best receiving four votes and so on down to the fifth best, who receives one vote in the Official Fans’ MVP Award.

Boak received an overwhelming majority of the vote (1,490 votes overall) in Round 6 to earn his second best on ground performance for the year.

Ruckman Matt Lobbe received four votes for his 32-hitout, two-goal performance while veteran Kane Cornes (three votes), Ebert (two) and Robbie Gray (one) rounded out the fans’ votes from Round 6.
