Carlile was replaced by Ollie Wines in the leadup to the game, but high performance manager Darren Burgess expects him to resume training this week.
"Bobby had a little quad tightness at the back end of last week and we decided it wasn't worth risking him in a NAB Challenge match," Burgess told portadelaidefc.com.au.
"We expect him to train this week and will assess him ahead of the Essendon [NAB Challenge] game."
With no injuries reported from the Power's 60-point loss to the Crows, the club's list remains in good shape.
Senior players are likely to return for Port Adelaide's second and final NAB Challenge game against Essendon on Tuesday 25 February.
Hamish Hartlett and Sam Gray remain on the injury list with returns from shoulder injuries expected within the next fortnight.
Talls Jackson Trengove and Jarrad Redden remain longer prospects as they recover from knee injuries.
