MATT White has a possible small fracture in his jaw and has gone to hospital for assessment.

He will be further assessed at training during the week to determine whether he's fit for selection against Fremantle in the first semi final.

"We're very hopeful that we may have dodged a bullet," senior coach Ken Hinkley said after the game.

"I couldn't tell you how he got hit ... he wanted to go back on at the time, as we should do we looked after player health first [and didn't let him back on]."

Hamish Hartlett was visibly cramping late in the game but remains available to play the Dockers on Saturday.
