Players from the Port Adelaide Football Club dispersed across Adelaide this week for nine NAB AFL Auskick Super Clinics, which over 1000 children participated in.

The NAB AFL Auskick program provides boys and girls with a fun and safe Australian Football experience that serves as an introduction to a lifetime of involvement in the game.

PAFC players found themselves amongst grassroots community sport where they encouraged further participation, improved health and social inclusion through AFL.

Each player facilitated an activity station which included goal kicking, tackling, hand passing and field kicking. At the conclusion of activities participants had an opportunity to get an autograph and a photo with their favourite players.

NAB AFL Auskick is not just about introducing children to Australian Football – it activates and develops within each child the desire for a healthy lifestyle and an association with our great game. This is achieved through activities and programs for individuals, small groups and teams, and aims to assist development of personal and social skills.
