MAGPIES vice-captain Henry Slattery has been suspended for five matches by the SANFL tribunal for rough conduct on Sturt's Jack Stephens.

The Incident Review Panel referred the matter to the tribunal, which this evening took a little over half an hour to decide Slattery would be banned for five matches.

Slattery was reported for rough conduct following an incident at the end of the second quarter against Stephens.

The IRP deemed Slattery's contact to be intentional, of severe force and high contact
