Rain forecast for Sydney may add extra variable to Power-Swans match.
SCATTERED showers are forecast for Sydney on Saturday afternoon, raising the likelihood of another wet-weather clash between Port Adelaide and the Swans.
The game, commencing at 2:10pm local time, will be the Power's first at the SCG since 2011.
Up to five millimetres of rain is forecast for the day, with scattered showers and possible thunderstorms about the harbour city throughout the afternoon.
It may mean the game escapes any rain periods, but with clearing morning showers in the metro area, there is a strong chance of a slippery SCG deck when the two sides run out.
It paves the way for a tight tussle akin to the Power-Swans match at AAMI Stadium one year ago to the round, which was also played in the wet.
