Port Adelaide vice captain Ollie Wines could make his return to AFL football against the Dockers this weekend.

INS: Bergman, Farrell, Georgiades, Ladhams, Wines

OUT: Burton (knee)

PORT ADELAIDE will make at least one change to the side that beat Adelaide in last weekend’s Showdown when it settles on its team to play Fremantle on Sunday.

Defender Ryan Burton has been ruled out with a knee injury, opening the door for one of the five inclusions into the side to take his place.

Among the five players named in the extended squad is a potential debutant, with the club’s first draft pick from 2019, Miles Bergman, selected for the first time.

Bergman showed no signs of an ankle injury which hampered him earlier in the year during the club’s 18-point win over Adelaide in a scratch match last Saturday.

Vice captain Ollie Wines is also among the inclusions, having been among the best players in that trial game in his first hit-out since he dislocated his shoulder in January.

Forward Mitch Georgiades, who made his AFL debut in Round 1 but missed Round 2 with a calf complaint, has also been named along with ruckman Peter Ladhams and forward Kane Farrell.

The club will on Friday afternoon finalise its 22-man team to face the Dockers.
