JAY Schulz is free to play against Carlton on Sunday after accepting a reprimand for striking Richmond's Alex Rance.

Schulz will have 93.75 points towards his future record.

The Match Review Panel assessed the incident as a Level Two striking offence. It was deemed the contact was intentional (three points), low impact (one point) and body contact (one point) - a total of five activation points, drawing 125 demerit points and a one-match suspension.

With Schulz's early guilty plea, the penalty was reduced by 25% to 93.75 points and a reprimand.

As reported yesterday on portadelaidefc.com.au, Jarrad Redden was cleared for contact with Shane Tuck.
