The veteran midfielder suffered hamstring soreness after last Saturday’s match against North Melbourne and was unable to participate in Wednesday's training session.
He was expected to fully recover in time to play against the Tigers but was unable to complete the entirety of today’s final training session.
The club is hopeful he will only miss this weekend’s match.
A replacement will be named with the submission of final teams before tomorrow’s game, which commences at 1:15pm at AAMI Stadium.
