DOM CASSISI is available to play football this week after being held over from a return last weekend.

Cassisi underwent a fitness test at the club's main training session but was not selected to play in Port Adelaide's thrilling five-point win over St Kilda at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night.

He will be considered for a return against the Lions this Sunday.

Daniel Stewart will be assessed again at training after failing to recover sufficiently from a hip injury last week.

He would be likely to return through the SANFL.

Brett Ebert will also undergo a fitness test for a return from an adductor injury.

Ebert has battled injury throughout the course of the year but has managed two matches for the club's SANFL side in June.

Like Stewart, he would be likely to make his return through the state league competition.
