In the Mix: Round 5
Will Paul Stewart return for Port Adelaide this weekend, or is it impossible to drop a player from a side that eased to a 6 goal win last week?
The half-forward flanker was substituted from the Balfours Showdown with a corked knee and, due to a short turnaround between Port Adelaide’s Round 3 and 4 games, was not selected in the team that defeated the Gold Coast by 38 points last Saturday.

But the 25-year old, considered a walk-up start in the Power’s best 22, is expected to be cleared as fit to play this week.
The question immediately raised by that proposition is: Whom does he replace?
Port Adelaide stands at 4 wins and no losses – its best start to an AFL season ever – and has no reported injuries from last weekend’s win over the Suns.
There is a real battle emerging for limited places in the side with the in-form Tom Logan travelling as last week’s emergency, Matt Thomas putting in another 30-disposal performance in the SANFL and Andrew Moore working hard to reclaim a spot after being dropped for Round 2.
The strong return of Dom Cassisi and promising substitution of Robbie Gray last weekend may have quashed these players’ chances of an AFL return at least for this week – few players were out of form on the Gold Coast.
So expect little, if any, change at Port's selection table this week.
West Coast is another matter. With a significant injury list early in the year, there is a chance several changes will be made to its side this weekend.
Up to five playeres will be tested with several a chance to walk back into the Eagles' team.

Ex-Collingwood star Sharrod Wellingham wil have his ankle assessed, while All-Australian defenders Darren Glass and Beau Waters are also set to return from respective shoulder and calf injuries.
Further down the list Patrick McGinnity and Brad Sheppard could also feature in what would be a very different West Coast side to the one that has started the year at one and three.
