ANGUS Monfries miracle goal in the dying minutes of Balfours Showdown XXXV has been nominated for a British Paints Goal of the Year.
Monfries gathered the ball on the forward 50, faked to go right, hooked back onto his left and banged it toward goal. It appeared to be going through for a point before it took a huge off-break through the goals to set up a famous Port Adelaide win.
