Healy departs Alberton
Port Adelaide has confirmed development manager Daniel Healy will depart the club after taking up a new opportunity in the sports industry.
The Central District premiership captain has been with Port Adelaide in two stints, in 2008 and then again from 2011 to 2013.
Port Adelaide General Manager - Football Peter Rohde has paid tribute to Healy’s hard work, particularly with the development of junior players.
“Daniel has been an important part of the Port Adelaide coaching team and has helped fast track the development of several emerging talents,” Rohde said.
“We want to thank Daniel for his contribution and we wish him, and his family, well for the future.
“The club will now begin the process of looking for a new member of our coaching group.”
Healy will be Leading Team’s business partner, based in Adelaide. He has a more than 20-year history with the company, dating back to when he was a player at Central District.
