New Port Adelaide Irish recruit Daniel Flynn has ended the Gaelic Football season in the best possible way.
The 20 year-old won a Premiership on the weekend with Johnstown Bridge in the local Kildare competition.
The win coming just days are flying home, fresh from signing a two year rookie deal with PAFC in Australia.
He’d travelled to Melbourne to be part of the AFL Draft Combine where the speed, agility and skill of rising stars are tested.
Flynn saying on twitter, “Definitely worth the trip home…Best week of my life so far!”
Flynn impressed with his speed and agility during testing at the Draft Combine was had been chassed by several AFL clubs.
Former AFL star Tadhg Kennelly has singled Flynn out as an exciting AFL prospect.

Daniel Flynn travelled from the draft combine straight back to Ireland to win a Gaelic Premiership with local side Johnstownbridge
