FOOD AND DRINKS at Adelaide Oval will be cheaper for the remainder of the season the Adelaide Oval has announced.
Among the changes, a full-strength beer that previously cost $9.60 will instead cost $8.50, and pies will be just $4.50, down from $5.80.
Adelaide Oval CEO Andrew Daniels confirmed the new pricing on Friday, saying it would start immediately and apply for the summer of cricket and the 2021 AFL season as well.
We look forward to seeing our True Believers at @TheAdelaideOval again soon, and the good news keeps coming with a price drop on a range of food and drink favourites ??????

He said the Oval would take a financial hit, but it wanted to do its bit to help with the state’s economic recovery.
“Almost every South Australian family has faced economic pain as a result of the COVID-19 situation,” Mr Daniels said.
“We recognise that and are doing something about it by reducing the prices of our most popular items.
“By doing so, we are taking a financial hit. It means Adelaide Oval’s own economic recovery – and that of local football and cricket – will take longer after being completely shut down during the height of the crisis.
“But fans are absolutely central to that. We want them to come flooding back to the games and events they love and we think our new pricing will make it easier for them to do so.
“We also recognise the important role Adelaide Oval plays in the vibrancy of the city and we want to do our bit in helping South Australia’s ongoing recovery.”
Port Adelaide Chief Executive Keith Thomas commended the Oval for making the move.
“We know our members and supporters can’t wait to get back to watching Port Adelaide playing at the best stadium on the planet, starting next Saturday night against St Kilda,” he said.
“The move to reduce prices will make it a more attractive proposition for families to come and support the club at a time when so many are doing it tough.
“We thank Andrew and his team, and look forward to seeing as many of our passionate fans as possible back at Adelaide Oval in the coming weeks.”
