THIS Sunday will be another proud and historic day for the Port Adelaide Football Club … and we want our Members at Adelaide Oval on Sunday to be a part of it.
The big day is nearly here. Thanks to Game Day sponsor Soaring Securities, the Power takes on Melbourne from 2.40pm on Father’s Day in the first ever AFL game at the world famous ground - and the last Home & Away clash before the venue is redeveloped.
Our Club will be on show as we wrap up the 2011 season, and give the sporting world a hint of what it will be like when AFL moves permanently to Adelaide Oval.
The weather’s looking good, with any early light showers sure to have cleared by lunchtime.
Make it a Father’s Day treat and bring the family.
Your Member’s season ticket gets you into the ground, with seating in allocated areas. Unfortunately we have been unable to provided reserved seats for this one-off event.
You can enter the ground at 12.30pm (45 minutes before general admission) to secure your seat and get settled.
Full details are in the Member’s Information Brochure that was mailed to every Member’s home. It can be downloaded here
General Admission tickets are still available from Ticketek at www.ticketek.com.au or ph 132 849.
If any General Admission tickets are unsold they will be available at the gate on the day, but these may be very limited.
We need to ask for some patience and understanding from everyone on the day, because we have been unable to replicate all the amenities you are used to at AAMI Stadium.
But with a little tolerance, we are sure it will be a fantastic celebration of the Port Adelaide Football Club and the future of football in South Australia.
And don't forget, you can have a kick and a catch on the famous ground after the game (weather permitting).
We hope you can join us for a great day.
