HAWTHORN midfielder Jordan Lewis has accepted the AFL Tribunal's offer or a two-match sanction for engaging in rough conduct against North Melbourne ruckman Todd Goldstein last weekend and will miss Sunday's game against Port Adelaide.

Lewis's previous poor record means the sanction must remain at two matches, even with an early plea.

Hawthorn elected not to appeal the decision.
