Thanks to Gordon Pickard, throughout 2010 the Port Adelaide Football Club has been running the ‘Pickard Power Loyalty Rewards Program’.
With more than $70,000 in prizes and rewards up for grabs - including a Toyota Rav4, a P&O Cruise, cool Power 'back in black' scooters and plasma TVs - it's a great way for the club to give back to those who support us.
In the lead up to our final home game this week against Melbourne:
- 5,613 people are already qualified and entered into the Major Prize Draw for the Rav4 and other great prizes
- 1,402 of those have attended 10 Power games and will gain an extra entry if they attend this week’s game
- There are another 1,056 who have attended six home games who need to attend a seventh to gain entry into the draw - and this week is their last chance!
The aim of the Pickard Power Loyalty Rewards Program has been simple - firstly to reward members who recruited others to become paid up Power members, and second to reward members who attend a minimum number of home games.
Members who recruited other members earned a ticket in the Major Prize Draw and also went into a Weekly Draw for a home match reward - such as a corporate box for a day -while those who attend seven games also go into the Major Prize Draw.
Those who attend all 11 home games will get a bonus entry in the Major Draw.
“This element of Gordon Pickard’s support for Port Adelaide allows us to encourage and reward our members for their active participation in our club in a much more comprehensive way than we have been able to previously," says Power President Brett Duncanson. "It's a fantastic initiative.”
The Major Prize Draw will be held at the Port Club on Wednesday 25 August.
