And in further good news for the Power, Reebok has also extended its contract with the club – taking its deal which previously went to the end of 2010 out to the end of 2012.
Power Chief Executive Mark Haysman told the club’s season launch today of the sponsorship news, along with unveiling the club’s new TV commercial and an extended ‘Live the Creed’ video call-to-arms.
“We welcome BBX and Betezy to the Port Adelaide Football Club for 2009 and beyond, and to have Reebok back on board for future years is terrific news,” Haysman said.
“We look forward to three long and very successful partnerships with those businesses.
“We are also working closely with Vodafone to re-partner with them at a significant level from 2010 onwards, so we look forward to that relationship continuing.”

Betezy, an AFL Approved Betting Provider, will use its sports and racing site teambet.com.au to service Port Adelaide members and supporters for the next three years.
Betezy Managing Director, Vince McDonald said: “With the support of Port Adelaide members and supporters, this venture through Teambet could be a major force in cementing the club’s future, as has been the case with major soccer clubs in England.”

BBX is a barter trading company, which was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2005. It facilitates the cashless trading of goods and services between member businesses.
In essence, BBX is a credit and debit card system (similar to other card systems) which enables businesses to access a variety of goods and services.
Founded in 1993, BBX currently services about 5,000 member businesses in Australia and New Zealand, representing over 8,000 individual cardholders. BBX-generated trade activity of member businesses totalled over $180 million in the 2006/7 financial year.
