IT wasn't a breakout game for Chad Wingard against the Roos, but having missed the last two through injury, the 18-year-old looked pleased to be back.

He mustered five first-term possessions including two inside-50s, but it shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone that he'd start fresh - he predicted it himself during the week.

"Every day I wake up feeling a lot better, there must be something in my bed," Wingard told reporters.

A journalist then enquired, "What's her name mate?"

"She's called Sherrin and she wears red leather," Wingard fired back.
